We have been producing glued laminated timber since 2000
Babaevskiy DOK (Woodworking Plant) specializes in building glulam houses since 2000. Modern high precision equipment produced in Germany allows us to produce strong, durable and ergonomic material for building prefab houses and also all the sawn timber required. We specialize in glulam production of standard profiles and we also make products according to individual customer drawings. The size of the production line allows us to glue lamellas to 15m long, so we can produce timber for building wooden houses with the wall length to 15m without additional connections. Our plant cooperates with many raw materials exporters and building companies in Vologda Oblast. We purchase high quality softwoods from the forests in Vologda Oblast. The drying process takes place in our drying complexes with the total area – 240 m3. Every stage is always technically supervised and defected wood is sorted out. All products are in accordance with GOST 8486-86 (Sawn Timber of Softwoods). It is possible to build a glulam house in a few months and live there, because the house shrinkage doesn’t occur and you don’t need any exterior and interior works. You can discuss the price and buy a prefab house during the year. Selling is in the office of our company: Cherepovets, 54A Gogolya Street, room №3.

- hydraulic press for gluing blanks up to 350 mm wide, up to 1000 mm high and up to 15 meters long.
- planer BEAVER 640 with the ability to process sections up to 300x400mm.
- thicknesser QUADRO 63 for wide structural beams up to 630 mm.
- cup cutting machine IRONMAC BLOX 400 for corner joints on a bar measuring 400x300mm.
- lifting mechanism up to 5 tons.
Production equipment
Drying complex Mühlböck-Vanicek
4 dry kilns – 50m3 and 60m3 allow to dry 220m3 of board with the section of 50mm in 6 days. The dry kilns operation is fully automated. You can operate the kilns using the dispatcher’s computer as well as using a mobile phone or a tablet which allows to organize the continuous drying process 24/7.

Dry boards are calibrated on 4 sides to have one size and one geometric form. The defects such as rot and knots are eliminated. Also defective boards with big cracks are sorted out at this stage.

Double-sided cutting of spikes and glue application is made at this stage. As a result, the boards are spliced into lamellas in a hydraulic press. The size of the splicing line allows us to produce lamellas to 14 meters long.

Before gluing lamellas have to be the same size. Then the two-component glue Akzonobel (resin and hardener) is applied. The boards with the maximum length – 15m and the height – 1,2m are going to the press. The pressure depends on the section of glued material with the maximum value of 12 bars.

The maximum width of timber profile – 200mm x 300mm. We produce 4 types of profiles for building with heat insulation and without it. The order of undersized type of profile is also possible. Standard sections for order are from 80 to 245mm, individual section parameters are possible too.

Cup cutting machine with the maximum processing hole – 250mmx245mm works automatically according to the architect’s programme. Timber is segmented into details according to specification. Cups, holes and grooves are cut, also the cross-cutting of the end is done.
